So this week fast food workers in several cities planned a strike to protest their hourly wage. As it stands right now most probably make around minimum wage, but want a raise to $15 an hour. Workers argue that minimum wage is not a living wage, and to be honest that is correct. You can't support yourself on that. The question arises though, were those jobs designed to be a sole source of income? Most are part-time jobs that could not support a family even if they made $15 an hour. With jobs in short supply, what do you think? Should they get the raise?
