Tickets to the six markets on George Strait's The Cowboy Rides Away tour that went on sale on Friday (October 12th) sold out within the first few hours, with the Lubbock, Texas tour stop selling all 15,431 tickets within just 15 minutes. George said, "I never expected the fans would react like this. It's just incredible. I really do have the best fans in the world, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all on the road very soon." In addition to Lubbock, sold out cities include Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, St. Paul, Minnesota, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Las Cruces, New Mexico. In select markets, remaining single show tickets are still available for purchase.

Martina McBride joins Strait on the 2013 leg of the tour. Tickets can be purchased online through Strait’s official website and are priced at $69.50 and up.
