Vince Gill
has gone on record defending Taylor Swift, declaring he loves her "to death." The country superstar heaped the praise on her, saying "she's hitting the big home run" with her music and has a "great way of connecting to people." He added: "She gets beat up a lot. Unfairly so."  




Taylor would probably agree. She admits in a new interview that she finds the backlash strange, particularly the criticism that she's gone too mainstream: “Almost every time I put something out, there’s the word ‘too’ put in front of what it is -- too pop or too country or too rock. I had a song last year called ‘Mean’ and I remember reading a few articles that said it was too bluegrass."
