The Grand Ole Opry will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the plane crash that killed Patsy Cline next Tuesday night. Patsy, Cowboy Copas and Hawkshaw Hawkins, along with Patsy's manager and pilot Randy Hughes, perished on March 8, 1963, when their small plane went down near Camden, Tennessee. The three Opry members will be remembered with a special concert featuring their songs. Country Music Hall of Fame member Jean Shepard, who is Hawkshaw's widow, will be among the performers.
