American Idol star Lauren Alaina and has reached a major milestone in her young  life; the 18 year-old graduated from high school! Such a bright future lies  ahead for this country starlet!

George Strait has  wrapped up the first leg of his "Cowboy Rides Away" farewell tour.  But the  country superstar reminds his followers that this trek won't be their last  opportunity to see him in concert.

Strait played his 2013 finale in San  Antonio, Texas on Saturday, performing before a packed house at the  Alamodome.  A total of 73,086 enthusiastic fans were on hand for Strait's  hometown show, which set a new attendance record for the venue.

In addition to performing for his fans, Strait also honored the troops during  his show.  He presented house keys to a Marine and an Army sergeant, whose  families are receiving new homes from the Military Warriors Support  Foundation.  The crowd was also treated to opening sets from Miranda  Lambert and Martina McBride.

Strait will wrap up his "Cowboy Rides  Away" trek next year.  The singer's 2014 dates are expected to be announced  in late summer.

(Yahoo!) - Jessica  Simpson is a showstopper … and that was the case even when she was a  teenager.

In a Twitter post labeled the "ultimate #tbt" (that's  Throwback Thursday for you non-tweeters), the 32-year-old mom shared a  five-minute video of herself in high school performing the lead role of Cassie  in her alma mater's production of "A Chorus Line."

In case you forgot that the "Fashion Star" mentor is packed with star power ¯  here is your reminder!

In the clip, the blonde bombshell is rocking a pair of skintight black pants  that look almost as good as her daisy dukes as she belts out "The Music and The  Mirror." She also high kicks, sashays, and leaps into splits on stage.

Impressive, right?

We have to agree, this Throwback Thursday post is just as Simpson describes  it ¯ the ultimate. Even in high school, the buxom star knew how to deliver the  goods! And with her second baby due any day now, one can only hope that her  kiddos inherit their mother's raw talent.
